Taking cognizance of the objectionable actions of an officer in Singrauli district, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed disciplinary action. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the dignity of women is paramount and emphasized that any disrespectful behavior towards a woman is unacceptable in any situation. This is inhumane and condemnable.
Expressing displeasure over the incident, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has instructed the transfer of the guilty officer. The officer found at fault in this incident has been immediately removed from his position. In accordance with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's directive, the concerned officer, Mr. Aswanram Chirawan, Deputy Collector in charge, has been transferred to the General Administration Department in Bhopal. Orders to this effect were issued this evening."
