Teacher’s Day celebrations and Unveiling of MPDU Poster - National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh.


September 05, 2023 (Tuesday). National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh (NID MP) celebrated Teacher's Day with great fervor and admiration on September 5, 2023. The institute, known for its commitment to education and excellence, took this special occasion to honor and appreciate the dedicated educators who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students.

The celebration commenced with a warm and heartfelt welcome extended to all the teaching staff by the students of NID MP. As part of the festivities, a felicitation ceremony was held in which ISO 9001-2015 Certificate which was awarded for the NID MP issued by Indian Register Quality System for maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) was released, Certificates were given to FIPSA award winners, Letter of Appreciation was given to employees for assisting in Design Shivir & FDP, Certificates in First Aid Management from AIIMS Bhopal was also given to employees.

Earlier in the day, Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh unveiled the poster of the Madhya Pradesh Design Utsav (MPDU), which is one of the largest design events in the state.

MPDU will be organised from 15th to 17th December 2023 in the NID MP campus at Acharpura. The event will showcase an impressive array of trade shows, exhibitions, workshops, arts & crafts displays and cultural activities. The Design Utsav will provide an opportunity to artisans, designers, industry experts, academia, students, and public to experience the value of design through a number of delightful activities.

At the end, Prof. Dhiraj Kumar, Director expressed gratitude to all the teachers, saying, "Our teachers are the guiding lights who shape the future of our students. They inspire, empower, and nurture young minds, and today, we take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for their unwavering commitment to education."
