CM Chouhan approves Rs 431 crore from Special Fund for development works in urban bodies

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has approved Rs. 431 crore 6 lakh from the Special Fund head for various development works related to infrastructure in 356 urban bodies. With this amount, development works like construction of cement concrete road, construction of asphalt road, dividers, construction of parks, Mangal Bhawan, community halls, cremation grounds will be done.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh has told that the special thing in this is that along with the construction of monuments, statues of martyrs and great personalities will also be installed with this amount. With this, statues of Tantya Mama, Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, immortal martyr Hemu Kalani, Late Shri Kailash Sarang, former Chief Minister Late Shri Kailash Joshi will be installed in Bhopal. Along with this Bharat Mata Mandir memorial will also be built. 

Statues of immortal martyr Maharana Pratap in Sagar and former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be installed in Nagar Palika Sausar. The statue of national poet Makhanlal Chaturvedi will be installed in the city council Makhan Nagar. Instructions have been given to all the bodies that after preparing the estimates of the approved works, after competent technical approval, they should expedite the process of inviting tenders.
