All about "Green Tea"

Green tea being a famous beverage among fitness enthusiasts around the world contains a large number of antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols.
Regular consumption of green tea has proven its effects in various ailments including cancer.

HEART HEALTH - 

People who drink at least 5 cups of green tea per day have a significantly lower risk of dying  from stroke risk than those who drank less than one cup of tea per day. It also lowers bad cholesterol in heart patients.

DIABETES- 

Research has shown no risk of developing type 2 diabetes in green tea drinkers than those who consumed no tea at all.

WEIGHT LOSS- 

Green tea helps in increasing the metabolism of an individual thereby resulting in increased energy during workout for greater weight loss.

EFFECTS ON MEMORY-

Green tea can enhance our brain's cognitive function, particularly the working memory.
Green tea helps to a great extent in the treatment of cognitive impairments associated with neuropsychiatric disorders, such as dementia.

ALZHEIMER'S -

Researchers tested the effect of a component of green tea, CAGTE or ("colon available" green tea extract), after it had been digested, to see how it affected a key protein in Alzheimer's disease thus contributing in reducing the risk of the disease.
